Night Classes
These classes are available at no cost for all current members of SMART Local Union #49 – licensed Journeymen and Apprentices alike.
These classes do not count toward CEU credits for license renewal, however you can receive accredited certifications.

Welding
Note: Registration for this class is CLOSED. You may use the form on this page to be added to the Waitlist for the 2024 classes. JATC staff will contact you when a spot becomes available.
Welding class will take place every Tuesday night from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. The class is structured to be a skill builder and prepares individuals for certification conducted here at the JATC for ITI.
This class requires weekly attendance. 3 consecutive absences will result in you being removed from class. Walk-ins are not allowed. All attendees must provide their own fire resistant welding cap.
Service Class

The Service class will take place every Wednesday night from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
This class requires weekly attendance. 3 consecutive absences will result in you being removed from class. Walk-ins are not allowed.
TAB
The Testing, Alignment, and Balancing (TAB) Study class takes place Wednesday nights from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Students may bring a tablet or laptop to access the materials. There are no hard copies of the books or materials available.
If you would like to enroll for the TAB Study class, please fill out the form below. This class is 23 units and requires weekly attendance. Walk-ins are not allowed.

Class Registration & Waitlist Request
Please check above for class dates and enrollment deadlines. If a selected class is full or past the enrollment deadline you will be placed on a Waitlist for the next available cycle for that class.
